Who I Am

profil2bw_orez.jpg

I am an man artist from little town.

Unlike many, I didn’t grow up with a pencil in hand. My interest in drawing came only in adulthood. For years, I carried a quiet urge to create, but it was often overshadowed by hesitation — even fear. Only when I dared to cross that boundary did I finally pick up a pencil. Since then, drawing has become a natural part of my life.

My focus is on artistic nude drawing – a theme that captivates me with its strength, subtlety, and complexity. I see the human body not just as a visual form, but as a carrier of movement, emotion, memory, and presence. It is the most natural part of our being – and yet, it is often judged or misunderstood.

Through my drawings, I aim to help restore a sense of dignity to the body – free from shame, prejudice, or comparison. I hope my work encourages viewers to look at the human form with respect, openness, and calm.

I work primarily with pencils of varying hardness and graphite powder. These allow me to explore the interaction of light and shadow, surface and structure. With just a few tones of gray, I try to evoke depth, softness, stillness, or tension. For me, each drawing is both a visual study and a quiet meditation – an attempt to express not only the outer form, but also the inner presence of a person.

In 2025, I was honored to participate in NUDUS, an international online exhibition dedicated to the contemporary artistic nude. It allowed me to share my work in a broader context and connect with fellow artists who explore the human figure in their own unique ways.

My journey is still in its early stages. But I value every gaze, pause, or reaction that my work evokes. I believe art doesn’t always need to speak loudly — even a single drawing can begin a silent dialogue between souls.
